SUSPECT ARRESTED JUST HOURS AFTER VICTIM REPORTED BURGLARY IN INLET BEACH
WALTON COUNTY, FLA— A suspect is arrested only hours after the report of a burglary in Inlet Beach on Monday.

At around 5 pm on May 12th, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Walton Gulfview Drive after a homeowner reported a person had gone into his home through the garage and stolen numerous items within the last few weeks.
A next-door neighbor approached deputies on scene and said she had witnessed a middle-aged white man in his 40s driving a Southern Holiday Homes work truck near the garage about a week and a half before.
Minutes later, deputies had the vehicle stopped. The driver was identified as 48-year-old Aaron Charles Lynn of DeFuniak Springs.
At first, Lynn denied having any involvement. But further investigation revealed the vehicle was in the area at the time of the burglary. After confronting Lynn again with the evidence, he admitted to the burglary. All items were recovered.
Lynn was arrested for burglary and transported to the Walton County Jail. He was given a $5,000 bond and was released Tuesday morning.
This arrest was made thanks to neighbors helping neighbors and keeping an eye out for one another. We applaud our residents and their vigilance. Let’s watch out for each other.
