Sound The Alarm

Home fires claim thousands of lives each year. Having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of home fire deaths in half.

That’s why Walton County Fire Rescue has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide FREE smoke detectors to Walton County residents north of the Choctawhatchee Bay as part of our Sound the Alarm program.

Simply fill out the form below and members of Walton County Fire Rescue will install smoke alarms provided by American Red Cross in your home, free of charge.

If you have any questions or for more information regarding the Sound the Alarm program, please email [email protected].

You can also sign up for the program by calling our non-emergency line at (850) 892-8111 and asking to speak with Fire Marshal Jeremy Radney.
