Santa Patrol
Each year, children eagerly anticipate waking up on Christmas morning to find gifts from Santa under the tree. In that spirit, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to ensuring a joyful holiday experience for as many children and families in need as possible.
Established in the 1970s, the Santa Patrol program began as a grassroots initiative to collect toys, clothing, school supplies, and other essential items for children from underprivileged households.
Today, Santa Patrol continues that mission by providing hand-selected gifts to families in need, identified with care by our School Resource Deputies. These gifts are personally delivered by members of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office staff, helping to bring holiday cheer to our community.
Each November and December, we invite the community to support this effort by donating new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 0 to 17, or by making monetary contributions.
While we receive many donations for younger children, we also serve families with teenagers. If you’re unsure what to purchase for a teen, a monetary donation is a great alternative—our team will ensure your contribution brings joy to someone in need. Please make checks payable to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office with “Santa Patrol” noted in the memo line.
