ONE ARRESTED ON CHILD AND ANIMAL SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL VIDEO FOLLOWING SEARCH WARRANT TUESDAY
WALTON COUNTY, FLA— A search warrant Tuesday by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes and Northwest Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force leads to the arrest of a Guatemalan national.
Paulino Tec Ixim, 42, is charged with possession of child pornography, transmission of child pornography, possession of pornography depicting sexual activities with animals, and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony following an investigation into a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
The investigation revealed that a user by the name of “Antonio Tek” transmitted files of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) over a social media platform. Subpoenas linked the account to 82 Windy Hill Drive in DeFuniak Springs. On April 22nd, a residential search warrant was conducted at the residence.
Ixim admitted the phone number linked to the social media account was his. The phone belonging to Ixim also contained two additional videos of CSAM and one file of bestiality.
He was subsequently arrested and booked into the Walton County Jail. Because he is in the country illegally, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was notified of Ixim’s arrest. He was issued a $100,000 bond and is still incarcerated at the time of this release.
