WALTON COUNTY, FLA— An Arkansas man is arrested after an investigation by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit revealed he was soliciting a 10-year-old and sending pictures that were sexual in nature over a popular social media app.

In June 2023, a concerned Walton County mother filed a report with Walton County Sheriff’s Office after she found her 10-year-old daughter exchanging Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) with who she believed were adult men on Snapchat.

The case was investigated by WCSO Cyber Crimes Unit and through digital forensics it was learned the child exchanged CSAM with multiple male subjects.

After numerous investigative subpoenas and search warrants, WCSO Investigators were able to positively identify three male subjects. Out of the three, only one was an adult.

On October 11th, 2024, a warrant was issued for Aremon Caprice Wilkins, 36, of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

October 22nd, the United States Marshals Task Force apprehended Wilkins. He is currently being held in Arkansas awaiting extradition.

Wilkins is being charged with possession of child pornography, transmitting harmful material to a minor, solicitation of a minor, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
