Santa Patrol

Each year, children look forward to waking up and unwrapping presents from Santa. For this reason, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the perfect Christmas morning to as many children and families in need as possible.

Santa Patrol began in the 1970s, collecting toys, clothing, school supplies, and other donations for children in underprivileged homes.

Now, Santa Patrol helps provide for families in need carefully selected by our School Resource Deputies during Christmastime! Presents are hand-selected and delivered by members of our staff.
Now through December 18th, WCSO is seeking monetary donations and new/unwrapped gifts for kids ages 0-17!
It should be of note that while we receive a lot of toys for smaller children we also provide for families with teenagers. Or, if you don’t feel comfortable shopping for a teen, make a monetary donation and let Santa do his magic! Checks can be made out to Walton County Sheriff’s Office with “Santa Patrol” in the memo section of the check.

Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Sheriff’s Office located at 10 Sheriff Circle in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, as well as the South Walton Substation at 133 Sheriff Drive in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. In addition, drop-off donations include at Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center in DeFuniak Springs and all of our Walton County Fire Rescue locations.
