Ride-Along Program
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and Walton County Fire Rescue (WCFR) proudly offer a Ride-Along Program that gives community members and prospective employees an inside look at public safety in action. Whether you’re exploring a future in law enforcement or fire rescue, or simply want to better understand how we serve Walton County, this program provides a unique, firsthand experience.
Program Overview
Participants may choose to ride along with either WCSO deputies or WCFR personnel. Throughout the experience, you’ll observe operations, emergency response procedures, and the dedication required to protect and support our community.
Requirements
To participate, applicants must:
- Complete the online Ride-Along Program application
- Successfully pass a background check
