Ride-Along Program

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and Walton County Fire Rescue (WCFR) offer a Ride-Along Program designed to give civilians and potential employees a behind-the-scenes look at public safety operations. Whether you’re considering a career in law enforcement, fire rescue, or simply want to learn more about what we do, this program is a great way to observe our professionals in action.

Program Overview

Participants may choose to ride along with either WCSO deputies or WCFR personnel. During the ride-along, you’ll gain insight into daily responsibilities, emergency response protocols, and the commitment it takes to serve and protect Walton County.

Requirements

To participate in the Ride-Along Program, the following are required:

  • Submission of the Ride-Along Request Form
  • Completion of a background check
