Santa Patrol

Santa PatrolEach year, children look forward to waking up and unwrapping presents from Santa, and The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the perfect Christmas morning to as many children and families in need as possible.

Community Christmas, also known as Santa Patrol, began in the 1970’s, collecting toys, clothing, school supplies and other donations for children in underprivileged homes. Monetary donations are also accepted. Members of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and other volunteers within the community use the donated money to purchase more toys and supplies for the children to open for Christmas. Donations are collected at the Sheriff’s Office located at 752 Triple G Road in Defuniak Springs, Florida, as well as the South Walton Substation at 133 Sheriff Drive in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
