WALTON COUNTY, FLA— If you are a resident or visitor to Walton County, Florida you can now file certain crimes without ever leaving your home or office.

The following types of reports will be accepted through the new system:

Although the online reporting system CANNOT be used if there are known suspects related to the crime being reported (unless it’s a narcotics tip), DORS aims to help Walton County Sheriff’s Office provide a better service to residents and make filing a crime report easier for victims.

In addition, this service provides a way for residents and visitors to conveniently file reports on their own time and allow deputies to answer high priority calls for service.

The system is available on the Walton County Sheriff’s Office website at https://waltonso.org/online-reporting-system/ and is also available in Spanish at https://waltonso.org/sistema-de-informes-en-linea/.

The online reporting system should not be used in place of an emergency or during an in-progress crime.
