UNKNOWN MALE SEXUALLY BATTERS TEEN IN HER CAR; WCSO SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECT

WALTON COUNTY, Fla —  The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a sexual battery that took place inside a teenager’s car late Sunday night.

On March 15th the Walton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sexual battery that took place on the night of March 14th. A teenager stated she had been with a group of friends at a home on Hinton Drive in Seagrove Beach before the group decided to go down to the beach to hang out. The victim said she left the beach approximately ten minutes before the others and returned to her vehicle that was parked at the home on Hinton Drive.

The victim stated shortly after leaving the home, she pulled over on the side of the road and an unidentified male entered the front passenger seat and forced her into the back of the vehicle where he proceeded to sexually batter her.

The suspect is described as a tanned or light-skinned mixed male, 6’2-6’4 tall, skinny with a thin beard. The suspect is believed to be approximately 19 years old and was wearing a white tank top and blue or black swim trunks the night of the attack.
