Paxton, Fla— An Air Force veteran living in Walton County is now without some of his most prize possessions just five days before Veteran’s Day.

Sometime between November 2nd and November 6th a suspect broke into the shed behind the victim’s home on Tedder Road East in Paxton stealing several items from the shed including bicycles, fishing equipment, and a box with the victim’s service medals and photos.

Now, Walton County investigators are searching for the suspect who was captured on surveillance video on the property.  The white male can be seen armed with a hatchet and driving a white Kia Sorento.

“These are the toughest burglary cases to work,” said Sheriff Michael Adkinson. “These aren’t just things you can go out and buy again. These are things that cannot and will never be replaced.”
