Offender Registration
If you are an offender/predator already established in Walton County or a new offender/predator, you must book an appointment to complete the registration process. The appointment must be made 24 hours in advance. Offender Registration Appointments can be booked online using this link.
Beginning June 1st, registration will take place at our North Administration Offices located at 10 Sheriff Circle, DeFuniak Springs.
Once you’ve booked an appointment, please download, print, and fill out this PDF form to have upon your arrival. If you have questions or need assistance, call 850-635-0602 to speak to a deputy in the Sexual Offender Predator Unit.

Please be prepared to bring the following documents if applicable to your registration.
- You must bring a valid Florida Identification Card or driver’s license.
- You can download and complete the Sexual Offender/Predator Registration (PDF) Form before your appointment to save time, or complete it when you arrive.
- A rental agreement or a letter permitting you to live at your current location from the landlord or property owner.
- Vehicle information, including registration paperwork and insurance.
- Employment address, supervisor’s name, and phone number.
- All email addresses, all social media handles, usernames, and emails linked to the accounts.
- All phone numbers.
- Professional license documents.
- Plea and Sentencing Agreement.
- If you drive a truck long distances or out-of-state driver, you will need to provide your log.
