DEFUNIAK SPRINGS MAN CHARGED WITH INDECENT EXPOSURE, BURGLARY TASED DURING ARREST
Eric Manley, 48.WALTON COUNTY, FLA— A DeFuniak Springs man is facing multiple felony charges after entering a woman’s home naked in Santa Rosa Beach over the weekend.
At around 10:30 Saturday morning, Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a victim who said a man she recognized entered her home on Dilligaf Street without clothes on. After the incident, the man ran from the house towards Juniper Street.
The subject, identified as Eric Manley, 48, of DeFuniak Springs, was located on Juniper Street in a vacant house. Manley had gotten into the home by breaking the front window.
When deputies attempted to take Manley into custody, he refused to comply and began reaching into the cushions of the couch where he was sitting. Manley was subsequently tased and placed under arrest.
He was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail where he is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, indecent exposure, and resisting without violence.
He received a $25,000 bond and is still incarcerated at the time of this release.
