DEFUNIAK SPRINGS MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES FOR BRINGING METH TO PROBATION OFFICE; ALSO CHARGED WITH VOP

Monday, August 19th Walton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the State Probation Office on Highway 90 in DeFuniak Springs after it was discovered Brandon Lee Harris was attempting to conceal methamphetamine in a small plastic baggy, two syringes, and a nasal spray bottle containing an unknown substance.

Harris was scheduled to meet with his Probation Officer and admitted to knowing he had narcotics and paraphernalia on him before arriving.

The nasal spray bottle was sent off to be tested.

Harris was transported to the Walton County Jail and charged with felony violation of probation, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given no bond and is still incarcerated at the time of this release.
