TURN ‘EM IN TUESDAY – TRENTON MURPHY ARRESTED
There goes an old saying, “there’s nothing worse than a thief”. How about a thief who steals from friends? This weeks Turn ’em in Tuesday featured Trenton Murphy,18. Murphy had active warrants for burglary, grand theft, dealing in stolen property, criminal mischief, and false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker after stealing jewelry from friends who let him crash for the night and then selling them to a pawn shop.
His betrayal earned him a date with a Walton County Judge. A tip to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office lead to his arrest after he was featured in our Turn ’em in Tuesday campaign. Deputies located Murphy on John White Road around 10pm January 25th. A huge thank you to the tipster and our community for your continued support of this campaign!
If you know the whereabouts of those with active warrants you are asked to contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at (850)-892-8111 or you can remain anonymous by calling Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at (850) 863-TIPS.
