Walton Air Rescue is a division of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office that provides emergency medical helicopter transport in partnership with Air Methods. When someone is seriously injured or critically ill, Walton Air Rescue helps get them to the hospital as quickly as possible.

The helicopter is staffed with experienced pilots and highly trained medical crews who can provide advanced medical care during flight. This allows patients to begin receiving critical treatment before they ever arrive at the hospital.

Walton Air Rescue may be used for severe crashes, serious injuries, heart attacks, strokes, and other life-threatening situations. The division works closely with local fire departments, EMS providers, and hospitals to ensure patients receive the right care, fast.
