Civilian Firearms Safety Course

civilian-firearms1The Civilian Firearms Safety Program (Basic and Advanced Firearms) is held various times throughout the year. Both the Basic and Advanced classes consist of six hours that detail the basic safety and shooting fundamentals for most handguns. It is generally held on Saturdays and is instructed by the WCSO Training section. Completion of the course allows the participants to apply for their concealed carry permit. Those packets are provided to course attendees. Participants should bring fifty (50) rounds of ammunition for their weapon. Firearms are provided by the WCSO to attendees so that they can make an educated decision before they buy.
